I’m in absolute disbelief. Austin will live on as a legend as more people find out about the music of the late genius. Rest in peace, brother.

It’s so sad I really can’t believe it yet. I had the pleasure to play with Austin last year when he came to Norway for a show we had with Jaga Jazzist. He blew me, the band and the audience away! A TRUE STAR in every way! We’ll miss you so much! Martin
WorldS.
eternal vibrations. peace to Peralta and brainfeeder family
RIP and most sincere condolences for the loss to all close to him. We’re all thankful to have had him enrich our lives in such a short time. May he live eternal through the work he has gifted us.
Such beautiful music we have heard, and so sad for the notes we can’t hear that are playing now out there wherever he is now…

Wednesday I lost a brother, and am still in disbelief. there are no words to describe how i feel, except the most vibrant and inspirational person in my life is now free to accomplish what he struggled with in this physical domain. I know in the izzness the n’th dimension he’s still swingin, way out of course. Now there are no limits to what he can do and hopefully we will be able to sense and appreciated his music and love transcending our structurally based reality. be free my brother, i know you will find what and who you’re looking for. I speak for everyone when i say I wish you could have waited several more decades. just don’t forget to write, or make the skies sing.

We went to the same jam sessions (mainly, Dinner M House), where I met him. Lots of common friends-players, good times…very beautiful person, great, positive energy, unbelievable talent…
I remember this like I saw him the other day…what a terrible loss!

Went to school with this kid, saw him at low end and just blew me away, 22, geezus,

When I heard the news I had just gotten home that night… and I was hoping it wasn’t true.
I saw Austin play live with Thundercat in San Francisco last year in June, and their performance actually changed my life.
He will be sorely missed by family, friends and music lovers world wide, but he will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Austin.

Rest in Peace Austin. Sublimely talented and part of something of something so beautiful. Constantly in awe of what you were doing. It’s not right that that much talent can suddenly not exist. Your work will live on dude.

Endless planets was one of the first Brainfeeder joints i purchased – i really appreciate what the Brainfeeder family have done musically in my life over the last year and Austin, your music was one of the defining sounds that motivated me to enjoy music again, specially in these commercially disposable days of loveless sounds. It hurts that another great light has been taken from is. My condolences to the Peralta family and friends. My you find peace Austin. Much love and respect.
